I was not planning to go to see the latest production of Spamalot. It was playing while we were in New York a few months ago and I just thought I would be disappointed given that I am a big fan of the movie. That said, I received the following review from my buddy Craig, so I think I will reconsider my original position...
Go see it!
Those five (three sir) three words are really all you need to hear.
I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard.
The Holy Grail material, while fun to see live is, like my friend said, kind of like seeing a cover band. It's the new stuff that Eric Idle has written that makes it so funny.
I don't want to spoil any surprises so I'm not going to say any more.
