The new chipmunk trap does work better than the old one... able to set the trigger on this trap with a very light triggering threshold, so got my first chipmunk this morning and relocated him to an area on the other side of town about 5 or kms away. Trap is now reset and waiting for the next visitor... Also noticed some red squirrels hanging around again - they are the real offenders. I'll need to be diligent with the traps over the coming months to keep them away until the snow flies.

HA! Got him! Well one of them anyway...
