The back deck is now a pile of scrap wood in the back yard, and most of the patio bricks are up that were underneath the deck - and the first step out of the back doors is a big one... The pool people came on Monday and marked where everthing goes in the yard so we needed to get the old deck out of the way since we want to have the patterned cement patio around the pool come right up to the house. Sharon and I decided where we want everthing to go and how big everything is going to be, and now its off to the races! Looking forward to having a nice place to sit in the back yard. Then we will need to plan and build the new deck to fit into the pool-scape. And we are toying with the idea of a solarium off the side of the house with a hot tub and sauna - we'll see how it goes.
