Jury Duty Summons - CRAP!

Damn, called for Jury Duty. I find it very interesting that parking is quote "VERY limited" at the courthouse, and suggesting the use of public transit. I am not anywhere near public transit so I will need to drive - but likely there won't be any parking - and if there is, I'll have to pay. So there's all this stuff about civic duty, but employers are not required to pay you for the time you are off work and you are responsible for all the costs associated with getting to court. In my opinion the whole thing really sucks.
